How do I navigate to Collections?
Creating a collection is quite simple if you have proper access. You will see a new icon on the top of your Heartbeat application called "Collections". Click here to launch.
You will see three sections on this page:
- Personal Collections: these are your own collections that you've created
- Shmoop Collections: collections that have been pre-curated by Shmoop. These align with the top use cases we hear from our customers. For example; Casel, MTSS, etc...
- Archived Collections: collections that have been archived but can still be viewed
How do I create a Collection?
Once you are in the Collections tab you will see a "+ New Collection" button. Go ahead and click on that to start the creation of your first Collection!
Give your newly created Collection a Title and Description. Now it's time to add your dimensions. Scroll down to the "Add Dimensions" section. Each Dimension has tags that can be filtered to be very specific about what you would like to add. You will see the breakdown on the left.
Each Dimension has a name and description. This will give you an overview and insights into what you would like to add. Once you've struck gold on the one you want click "+Add".
After you have completed this, you can add UP TO 10 different dimensions per Collection. Go ahead. Add some more. We dare you! Now that you have a few added, click the button on the bottom right-hand corner: "Create new Collection".
You will then be brought back to the Collections main page and your newly created Collection will be sitting right there in your Personal section.
