Why should I use Heartbeat?

How do I use my Heartbeat board?

• Access Heartbeat found under the "products" tab of schools.shmoop.com's homepage
• Personalize your screen under “settings”, to make it your own!
• Click the questions/statements displayed on your board to answer as many as you feel like. Click “refresh” to get a new set of questions. Feel free to skip questions that you don’t wish to answer.

How do I view my “pulse”?

Click “pulse” at the top of your screen. Filter to receive the feedback you’re looking for Recommended filter: “my peaks” Click a dimension to see your specific insight  Explore actions you can take with you to work through that specific dimension

How do I use “hand raise”?

• Inside of each dimension, you may raise your hand to spark a conversation with the teacher, counselor, or administrator of your choice.
• This feature is only available if your administration opts to turn it on.
