Bugs
Ack! We at Shmoop aren't keen on any sort of bug, whether it be spiders, the Plague, or an issue on our site. Whether a link isn't working or your diagnostic exam isn't loading, we're here to stomp that bugger out.
If you notice a bug, please try the following:
- Try another browser. We recommend Chrome and Safari for ideal Shmooping!
- Check to make sure you've disabled cookies and that you've upgraded to the latest browsers and plug-ins.
- Check with a network administrator to make sure Shmoop isn't blocked.
- Open an Incognito or Private browser and head to the page you were on where you encountered the bug. This will clear your history and load the latest Shmoop code.
- If you still see the bug, please email support@shmoop.com and let us know the following:
- The URL of the page where you found the error. (Hint: it probably starts with https://www.shmoop.com/ or https://schools.shmoop.com/...) That will make it easier for us to find. Just copy and paste it from your browser. Tell us what the exact issue is (e.g., I clicked on X and got taken to a black hole!) Tell us your username, and the name of your school and classroom, if applicable. Once we have all that info, our team will look into the issue and get back to you if they have any questions or to let you know that it's been corrected.

Suggestions
We'd love hearing from our users—rant, rave, whatever you've got for us. Email us at support@shmoop.com.
The more specific you can be, the better. Hit us up with the URL of the page you're ranting/raving about, and provide as many details as you can. One of our handy Support Shmoopers will be happy to help!
Oh, and one last thing.
Shmoopers, we love you. We would make like Atlas and hold up the sky for you if we could. But, unfortunately, most of our time is dedicated to making new content for you to enjoy, so we don't actually have time to help you with your homework questions. Also, not our job. (Turns out it's yours.)
That said, we've got your back. Never forget that we have an awesome search function that will help you find pretty much anything on pretty much everything. Think of it as your Shmoop emergency kit, for all your homework meltdowns.
